New head of marketing at the Schmersal Group

Wuppertal, 10th November 2015. Constanze Compes takes over the management of the marketing department of the Schmersal Group. This means the 46 year-old is responsible for the marketing strategy and the management of the global marketing activities for the company.

Constanze Compes is a proven expert in event marketing and public relations. She spent several years as the owner and managing director of a technical planning office for event technology for companies in industrial automation technology and for leading automotive manufacturers. As the managing director of a marketing association and leading member of various economic organisations, she played a significant role in the shaping of important economic policy projects.

“My primary objective in my new role as head of marketing is to build on the Schmersal Group’s position as a system and solution provider for functional machine safety in the international market. At the same time, I see another key role in establishing the services division, which Schmersal has just restructured and expanded under the tec.nicum brand as a reliable service partner for our global customers,” explains Constanze Compes. “In recent decades, Schmersal has established an excellent reputation as a top-class provider of safety technology products, solutions and services. I am looking forward to the challenge of building on this success further.”
